The Homework Club St Martins

The Homework Club St Martins was set up in 2004. It is a member of The Oscar Network in Christchurch and has been approved by Child Youth and Family. It has up to 30 children from St Martins School.

The children are met at 3.00pm by the picnic table on the bark area. When the roll has been called, the children are supervised on the play area before walking back to The Homework Club.

There is a weekly plan on display at The Homework Club which outlines what the children will be doing each week and every day. Parents are encouraged to discuss any issues, concerns or ideas with the staff. We like to work as a team to ensure the best for your child.

The Homework Club Cashmere

The Homework Club Cashmere was set up in 2009. It is a member of The Oscar Network in Christchurch and has been approved by Child Youth and Family. It caters for children from Cashmere Primary School and St Peters Catholic School.

The Homework Club Cashmere operates at Cashmere Primary School. Children from St Peters Catholic School meet outside their school office and travel to Cashmere Primary School with the supervisor and/or with Goldband taxi. The supervisor liaises with Goldband taxi daily to ensure the smooth running of the pick ups and the prompt collection of all children.

The Homework Club Beckenham

The Homework Club Beckenham was set up in 2002. It is a member of The Oscar Network in Christchurch and has been approved by Child Youth and Family. It has up to 30 children from Thorrington School. The children are met at school by 3.00pm.

The meeting point is outside Room 16, next to the outside chess game. The daily role call is taken every day before leaving the meeting point. The children walk back to The Homework Club with the staff and the daily programme takes place.

The Homework Club Barrington

The Homework Club Barrington was set up in 2004. It is a member of The Oscar Network in Christchurch and has been approved by Child Youth and Family. It has up to 30 children attending primarily from Somerfield School. The children are met at school by 2.55pm.

The meeting point is the school playground nearest to Somerfield Street. If wet, the meeting point is outside the school library. The daily role call is taken every day before leaving the meeting point. The children walk back to The Homework Club with the staff and the daily programme takes place.
